For in-home lifestyle newborn sessions, my goal is to keep things simple and natural. With gentle guidance instead of formal posing, I capture the connection and the authentic moments of your everyday life.

• Embracing the environment. Since the family had just moved in, their new house was a big part of the story! We documented moments in their lovely living room and made sure to capture a few photos on their new breezeway – a spot the family is already calling their favorite part of the home.
• Focusing on the details. From her tiny toes cradled in a parent’s hand, to the sweet, curious expressions of her proud big brothers, we captured little details they’ll always want to remember.

Toddlers, Newborns, and New Homes: A Recipe for Chaos (and Charm!)

Welcoming a newborn is a monumental shift. Two toddler boys often mean double the adjustment… but these two big brothers handled our photo session like champs!

My approach is always to keep the session rolling and let kids call some of the shots. Instead of forcing perfect poses, we capture their personalities and genuine expressions by incorporating things they love. This included sitting on Dad’s shoulders, driving a toy car on Dad’s head, and riding their bikes down the new front walkway.

The result? Beautiful images that are packed with genuine joy and authentic family interactions.
